Welcome to the CAIR Data Exchange Enrollment Portal

Enrolling in the CAIR Data Exchange Portal allows providers located in the state of California to securely send immunization data from an Electronic Health Record (EHR) to the California Immunization Registry (CAIR).


Please review the steps below before enrolling.


Not Eligible for This Portal

If your practice is located in any of these counties, DO NOT ENROLL HERE:

Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tuolumne

Unsure if you’re enrolled, or need to make changes to a current enrollment?

Include:

  • Site name
  • Site address
  • EHR system name
  • Any recent address changes (address, phone, contact)

Before You Enroll

Set aside 15–20 minutes and review the Data Exchange FAQs.

Have this information ready:

  1. NPI Number
  2. Responsible Clinician name and license number
  3. EHR / IT Contact
    • Name
    • Email
    • Phone number
  4. Data Exchange Type (confirm with your EHR vendor)
    • Option #1: Direct submission (EHR → CAIR)
    • Option #2: Indirect submission (EHR → 3rd Party Submitter → CAIR)
    • Option #3: Submit data to CAIR on behalf of other Sites

After You Enroll

You’ll receive confirmation emails with next steps.

Tip: Check your spam folder if you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox.
